Setup guide

How to set up your station.

A practical checklist from the moment your station arrives to the moment your first customer rents a power bank.

01

Inspect everything on delivery

  • Unbox the station and compare contents to the packing list.
  • Check for shipping damage and photograph any issues immediately.
  • Locate the power cord, mounting hardware, quick-start guide, and support contact.
  • Keep the box and foam for at least 30 days in case you need to relocate or return the unit.
02

Power and connectivity

  • Place the station within reach of a grounded outlet and a stable internet connection.
  • Avoid extension cords when possible; use a surge protector if one is not built in.
  • Confirm the venue's Wi-Fi credentials or use the cellular option if your model supports it.
  • Power the unit on and wait for the status light or screen to show it is online.
03

Activate and test the customer journey

  • Follow the provider's activation steps to connect the station to your account.
  • Rent a power bank yourself using the app or card reader to confirm the full flow.
  • Return the power bank and verify the return is recognized and the session ends.
  • Test a refund or support request so you know how the process works before a real customer needs it.
04

Placement and signage

  • Position the station where guests naturally pause: near the host stand, bar counter, or waiting area.
  • Keep it visible, well-lit, and away from moisture, heat sources, and heavy foot traffic.
  • Use the provided signage or print a simple card with price, steps, and return policy.
  • Make sure the return slot is easy to find and not blocked by furniture or decor.
05

Train the venue staff

  • Show staff where the station is and how to explain it in one sentence.
  • Leave a laminated troubleshooting card with common issues and your support number.
  • Confirm who at the venue can unplug or move the unit in an emergency.
  • Set a weekly check-in time to review usage and any customer feedback.
06

Maintain a reliable routine

  • Visit the location monthly to clean the screen, check cables, and restock power banks.
  • Watch for error messages, low battery alerts, or stuck units in the operator dashboard.
  • Keep spare power banks, cables, and a backup mounting kit in your vehicle if possible.
  • Document each visit so you can spot trends and justify expanding to new venues.
