Cold call & email scripts

Ready-to-use scripts for pitching bars and venues on hosting a portable charging station. Speak naturally, listen more than you talk, and always follow up in writing.

Cold call scripts

Script 1 — The quick opener (30 seconds)

"Hi, is the owner or manager in? Great — I'll be quick. I place portable phone charging stations in local bars, completely free to the business. It keeps your customers from leaving to charge their phones somewhere else, and it costs you nothing. Can I show you how it works — it takes about two minutes?"

Script 2 — The customer amenity pitch

"I work with a phone charging network, and we're placing stations in popular bars in this area. Here's the idea: your customers rent a portable charger, keep their phone alive all night, and can return it at any location in our network — not just here. It's a free amenity for your business, it keeps people at the bar ordering instead of leaving early, and your venue shows up on our station map so new customers can find you. There is no cost to you at all. Would you be open to a quick trial?"

Script 3 — Handling “what's the catch?”

"Fair question — there's no catch for you. Customers pay a small rental fee to use a portable charger, and the network handles the hardware, the app, and support. Your bar simply hosts the station. If a customer takes a charger with them, they can return it at any station in the network, so you're never stuck holding anything. It's a customer perk that keeps people in your bar longer, and it's completely free to your business. Can we try it for a few weeks and see how your customers respond?"

Script 4 — The close

"It sounds like this could work well here. The next step is simple — I fill out a short form with your venue's name and location, the station gets delivered and set up, and your customers can start using it right away. You'll also appear on the network map alongside our other stations. Is there any information you need from me to get started today?"

Email scripts

Swap in the bracketed details, keep it short, and always end with one clear question.
